Introduction
At lesson 1, we already had a look at the very basic sentence structure in Vietnamese which is in detail as below:
Subject + V + Object
In this lesson, we will focus on the broader form of the above structure as follows:
Subject + Predicate
That can help us know how to make a correct and meaningful Vietnamese simple sentence.

Lesson 1: Basic sentence structure and the present tense in Vietnamese

Introduction

This lesson will firstly introduce the very basic sentence structure in Vietnamese. It then will provide detailed instructions on the formation of sentences in the present tense under affirmative, negative and interrogative forms.

1. Present simple tense
Below is the very basic sentence structure in Vietnamese which expresses the idea that an action or event is happened routinely or habitually.

Structure: Subject (S) + Verb (V) + Object (O)
